LBSA’s Community Affairs is excited to share a collab event with LLS to assemble hygiene kits! ⛑️💖We are dedicated to helping all demographics of people in the NorCal area, and those across the Bay! 🌉🧑🧑🧒🧒
These kits will be donated to the Dorothy Day House in San Francisco to continue helping LA COMUNIDAD. 🌎 We hope to see all of you at our second Community Affairs event of the semester, supplies to make kits will be first come first serve.Get your Tickets FAST.👹
Hot Cocoa & Clothes Fundraiser
¡Holis Holis!
We know it’s starting to get cold here in Berkeley and you’re craving some coziness during your day, so Action Committee is happy to bring y’all some hot cocoa this Thursday, Nov. 14th! ☕️
The hot cocoa proceeds will be donated to Casa Funsovi, an orphanage that works to uplift vulnerable communities across Venezuela by offering support in healthcare, nutrition, and education, and Centro de Atencion Multiple de Charo Educacion Especial, a school for special needs that specializes in tailored educational programs for children and family support in Mexico.
We’ll also be selling handmade apparel, which all the proceeds will go to our partner, Intiwawa, that focuses on creating safe learning environments and opportunities for youth and families in rural Peru.
So come by and warm up with some delicious hot cocoa while supporting a good cause! 🤍🩷
Resume Workshop
Hello everyone, it’s time to edit those resumes! 📝
Raíces Operations Committee and the Latin American Leadership Society presents the Resume Workshop with the Berkeley Career Engagement Center! Career Engagement will join us on 11/13 from 5-6 PM @ HFA D33 to teach us about resume building, tips and tricks, what services they provide, as well as time for questions during the workshop.
